One of my favourite things about taking photos is how you can look at them days, months or even years later and they still have the ability to transport you right back to the moment they were taken. It has been a few months since my family was here on holiday and I am finally getting to the end of sorting through our holiday photos.

Editorial
I recently had the opportunity to write my very first magazine editorial! Although I agonised over what to write and whether it was good enough, I was pretty proud when I finally saw it printed and published.

Stripes
Skirt: Tuulla – Top: Zara – Bag: Ralph Lauren – Shoes: Zara
Watch: TW Steel – Sunglasses: Dolce & Gabanna
I can’t get enough of stripe shirts and white anything these days. Stripes are timeless and although I will always love black, white is so much better in the heat. I am also digging the gladiator sandal trend that is happening this summer. Generally, I try not to pick up on the passing trends too much, but these are just too cute and so easy to dress down or up depending on the situation. Versatility is key when you live in Bangkok, where your day can begin with a champagne brunch and end with $2 street noodles. What can I say, I love this city – you just never know what each day has in store.

Curated by Kiki
Top: Tuulla – Skirt: DKNY – Hat: Borrowed from Kiki – Shoes: Converse
Watch: TW Steel – Sunglasses: Dolce & Gabanna
I recently had the opportunity to make a new friend, Kiki. She has a fashion blog, but instead of writing about her own personal outfits, she interviews other bloggers, so I was honoured when asked to meet with me. Not only is she absolutely adorable, but she’s kind and hilarious too!
If you’re interested in reading my interview, you can check it out here. Note: there’s a special announcement in the interview that you probably don’t know about yet!

“Love Is Life” is what Diane Von Furstenberg signed in her book “The Journey of Dress” when I had the opportunity to meet her last night. She was definitely right – last night I was loving life!

Sparkle Party
Angkor
I recently travelled to Siem Reap and explored Angkor Wat for the second time. The first time I went I was a teenager and after being robbed of all my money on the first day, the 50 cent beers on pub street were mostly all that I could (not) remember. With this in mind, I was a bit worried to travel back to Siem Reap with my family, but was also excited to give Cambodia another try in hopes that I had a more pleasant experience the second time around. The good news is that Cambodia made a comeback in the mind of Elise and now she has a slight obsession. Why am I talking in third person?

Toes in the Sand
Scarf: Artisans Angkor – Top & Skirt: Zara – Jewelry: random Thai markets
I’m back!!! I think this has officially been the longest I’ve gone without a blog post since I created A Piece of Elise. Shocking, I know! Having said that, just because you haven’t heard from me doesn’t mean I forgot about you. I have actually been working hard creating all kinds of amazing content that will be coming your way this week. I am very excited to share it all with you.

The Perfect Pool Dress
Dress: Tuulla – Backpack: Culture Riot – Flip Flops/Hat: Platinum Fashion Mall
Taking a quick break from my family holiday and Songkran celebrations to bring you a new outfit post! I was in Siem Reap, Cambodia last week to explore Angkor Wat. We booked a random hotel online and it ended up having what might be my favorite pool of all time! It was literally a work of art. Forcing myself to walk around hot and dusty temples each day was quite an achievement. I think I may return to Sarai Resort & Spa Siem Reap very soon – they also had some of the kindest, most genuine staff I’ve ever encountered!
