Stripes

I can’t get enough of stripe shirts and white anything these days. Stripes are timeless and although I will always love black, white is so much better in the heat. I am also digging the gladiator sandal trend that is happening this summer. Generally, I try not to pick up on the passing trends too much, but these are just too cute and so easy to dress down or up depending on the situation. Versatility is key when you live in Bangkok, where your day can begin with a champagne brunch and end with $2 street noodles. What can I say, I love this city – you just never know what each day has in store.

Little Black Dress #2

Glasses: JOE Fresh – Blazer: Zara – Scarf: Vintage

It’s time for Little Black Dress #2! In case you missed #1, you can catch it here.

I don’t know about you, but I’m notorious for getting tired of my clothes. For example, when I’m getting ready for a party I often find myself frantically sorting through my closet throwing one item after another onto my bed in some desperate attempt to find something that I want to wear. Far too often, my room looks like a tornado, my bed has disappeared under a mountain of dresses and I end up sitting on the couch with a (seriously large) glass of wine in my hand. Because really, sometimes getting dressed can be big time overwhelming.

Mod Vibes

Clutch: Halson Heritage (sold out) via Peach9Min – Dress: Zara – Shoes: Ferragamo

For the last day of Fashion Week I felt like being a little bit fancy and this tunic dress was the perfect way to go. It has such a mod vibe to it! Not to mention the loose fit is perfect in the heat. Standing around outside waiting to enter the shows in March (slowly approaching the deadly April) was a pretty sweaty experience. I acquired a new obsession with Orangina to keep me cool outside in the sun – it tastes so fresh!

Sunglasses: D&G – Bag: Elizabeth & James – Watch: TW Steel

Lately I’ve been walking out the door dressed as a girly girl or basically looking like a boy. It’s always one of the two, nothing really in the middle. The outfit in today’s post was going to be worn with chucks, but then I figured I should wear at least one thing that looks feminine. CONTINUE READING!

So I need to learn to keep my mouth shut. Apparently taking pictures with Ivana makes me excited. There’s this weird fake grass putting green on the roof of my building, turns out it makes for some pretty colorful pictures!

Scandalism or Feminism?

64

Today I want to talk about wearing dresses that are both short and tight…and by that I mean scandalous.

The dress featured in this post is from Feist Heist and I’m absolutely in love with it. The little cut-out details make it that much more great. However, as I was wearing it for the photos, I came to the conclusion that I probably will never wear it again. Don’t get me wrong, I already said that I loved it. However, I just don’t feel comfortable in it. The reason being, it’s both short and tight.

Covered Is Key

32

I’m currently going through a phase of needing to be completely covered in clothing. I’m talking the least amount of visible flesh, the better. Unfortunately, this presents a bit of a problem given the current 40 degree temperatures.
