There’s Nowhere Like Home

Well friends, I am officially done University! Last night I arrived home to my parents house in Canada for the holidays – so happy to be here.

Although I still have an internship in Bangkok come January, the end of school marks a new beginning for myself, as well as A Piece of Elise. Although I am unsure as to what that means, you can expect more frequent posts from me…whether you like it or not.

I’m No Prom Queen

I know I’m getting a little bit ahead of myself given that I still have 1 more trimester of school, but I’m starting to feel like I’m done already. Mostly because this past weekend I attended my “university prom”.  Yes, I know University doesn’t normally have prom, but MUIC seems to do it’s own thing when it comes to a lot of things.

Too Cool For School

I have a confession to make: I am a 23 (as of last week) year old University student who has to wear a school uniform everyday. I know, it’s embarrassing. To some of you have never experienced such a thing at such an age, you probably find this a little weird. For those of us in Thailand, where this rule applies to the entire country, school uniforms are totally the norm. For me, as foreigner in Thailand, my feelings are at a confusing point somewhere in the middle. In fact, that’s how I’d describe most of my life’s feelings – confused.
