To begin, I would like to say that I don’t normally make a point of applying lipgloss while at the pool. In the case of these photos, I was merely looking for a way to occupy myself and thus appear a little less awkward. Mission failed. Oh well, it was worth a try.
Lipgloss ramble complete, I am now going to deliver some equally pointless words in regards to my bag. If you’re going to the pool, you need a Furla Candy Bag because they’re made of silicon aka fake boobies. Therefore, they are 100% waterproof! Whether it be a pool party, sleepy pool nap, serious tanning session or mermaid practice – this bag is perfect for the pool. Keep in mind, the semi transparency is not so good if you have something to hide.
Because the pictures for this post are the most important, I am going to keep this text short. Therefore, I have only one more thing to say. As you can probably see from the photos, the setting of this pool is one that should be entirely relaxing for most people. It is a place of soothing colors at calming waters – almost like a spa! However, I just can’t seem to learn to chill out. The time spent next to this pool involved my brain working at a million miles an hour. Stopping it seemed impossible. This is why I’m hoping you will have some solutions for me. What is it that you do to quiet your thoughts? I’d love to hear your ideas! Chamomile tea just doesn’t quite cut it.
Before I go, I would like to add that A Piece of Elise is on Facebook. From now on, I will be posting frequent outfit photos and random daily activities that will not always make it onto the blog. These may be in the form of “outfit mirror selflies” or other things equally embarrassing. Regardless of the quality, I can ensure you will find some new outfit inspiration! If you feel so inclined to receive short but frequent updates, I would be honored if you checked out A Piece of Elise on Facebook. The page can be found here.
Happy Friday! Go put on your best Kimono inspired cover-up and hang by the pool.
